Despite progress in European harmonization, European regulation, and European institutions, Europe remains a patchwork of languages, cultures and legal areas. For entrepreneurs this means that there is no single European standard solution for their IP needs. It follows that individual circumstances will dictate the routes to be chosen in the different European countries to ensure that investment in IP will produce the desired results.
It takes extensive and detailed knowledge and experience of the various regional and national regulations and other circumstances to be able to advise and act in this field.
The members of AIPEX have found that the best way to guarantee the standard of service to their principals, both inside and outside Europe, is to work in complete cooperation as an IP alliance.
In this way, extensive local knowledge and expertise in one country can be combined with that of colleagues in neighbouring countries to ensure optimum protection for each client. Optimum in relation to acquiring rights, optimum in relation to enforcement, but also optimum in relation to the speed and cost-efficiency of the whole process.
